I used to buy a lot of DVDs, but since I split my time between the US and Europe, I found that half my discs wouldn't play on my Powerbook. How many converter brands on the markert? Which one is the best one? Aiseesoft? Tipard? ... Who had used one please give me your advice/ Thank you in advance.

Who can tell me the difference between DVD ripper and DVD converter? Do they have the same function? How about the prices?
