Post subject: help!!!! Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>video (more info?)
Does someone know how to take a movie that was downloading and burn on to
dvd. The movie wont play on windows media, so I had to download vln. And also
what dvd do I use? Right now I have dvd/r. Is that the correct one? Thank you.

maybe try the
....How to rip copyrighted movies newsgroup...
Other than that the movie files needs to be in the VOB format for your TV's
DVD player to read it....as far as I understand. For WMP you will need the
correct codec's installed...try googling Windows media Player Codec's and
you will get a wealth of information.
