Post subject: TWO "C" files???? Add to elertz Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>hardware (more info?)
Help! When I am virus scanning, there shows two "C" files.
What does this mean and how do I correct this, if I need to...

"C" files? Are your scans turning up any virus hits?

Files can be named with any acceptable ASCII characters
from A or 1 upwards. You do not mean two C:> drives do you?
Repost with:
1. Name of your AV software and what it reports.
2. Your backup routine (when data files and settings
were last backed up.)
3. Symptoms (if any) of malware.
