My Dell 5150 Laptop is about 5 years old. All of the sudden, I am getting
this error message..... error loading operating system
I ran diagnostics and received the following failure 0F00 133D IDE Device
failed

This means your system isn't able to access your hard drive. It could
be anything from your PCI/SATA controller, to your hard drive, or
anything in between (bad cable, etc.) If you have the ability, open
it up and check the connections. If these are ok, try hooking up the
HD to a different machine. If you have problems there, it's likely a
hard drive gone bad.
