Just reinstalled Windows XP Home on my Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop.
The Control Panel Device Manager showed some question marks. I went
to Support.Dell.com to download the device drivers.

After downloaded and installed more than 20 drivers, there are still 4
question marks:
3 Base System Device and 1 Network Controller. Exactly which drivers
of which groups
(Applications, Network, etc.) I need for these 4 devices?

TIA,
Jeffrey

Using Service tag, I installed all the drivers from the
Support.Dell.com for my laptop.
The Inernet connection is working now. Network controller question
mark was gone.
However the 3 base system devices are still showing the question mark.

I am having a similiar issue:

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0592&SUBSYS_01BD1028^REV_0A\4&2FE911E8&0&0BF0
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_01BD1028&REV_01\4&2FE911E8&0&0AF0
PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0852&SUBSYS_01BD1028&REV_05\4&2FE911E8&0&0CF0

Those are all the details that I can get for the device drivers. Everything
else is pretty generic or with no data at all to help figure out what the
drivers out.

Any idea what these devices may be? I believe they are the same as
cjeffwang's issue

That absolutely worked.... I saw the driver @ Dell, but didn't pay it
much mind. Thanks!
