Post subject: dlhqjkd1q1.exe - Application Error Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>general (more info?)
Dear friends,
since couple of days I accessed some of the un trusted website.. I run an
antivirus.. anyway I got to remove may be by mistake or something and also
heal other files..
Now I get this msg each time I startup the windows xp ...
dlhqjkd1q2.exe - Application erros :
The Application failed to inicialize - Press ok to terminate the programe..
also, directly after this error my ADSL modem "SpeedTouch" failed to
configer the USB port each time I install its drivers !!!

No big deal when
- surfing under a *restricted* user account and
- all security settings applied correctly and
- the NTFS privileges are set correctly and
- running a fully patched system and
- Brain 1.0 installed between keybord and chair

Your Anti-Virus failed. No big surprise when Malware had been installed
with *administrative* privileges.

Note that executable files having random names like that are virulent
in almost all cases.

That file is probably associated with the malware. It's not a valid windows
file. Here are some links for dealing with malware.
