Post subject: the atidvag display driver has stopped working normally

I am hoping someone can help me out. I have an older laptop, a Toshiba Satellite 1905-S303. It works great and really don't want to have to replace it. However two to three times a day, my laptop will freeze and the display to say the least goes funky. The icons are huge, my wallpaper is unrecognizable, and forget gaming, video viewing, and even pictures. After it freezes, I get an error message that states "the atidvag display driver has stopped working normally" and to reboot. Any suggestions.
Thanks in advance

Hey there after like a years I like to give you the solution(something that worked for me). And for other people who find this page with a searchengine(google) with the same problem.

Get the full version of Registrybooster somewhere(buy it or the " other channels" ). THis program scans you computer in a couple of seconds on errors. The full version will fix the problems.

That how i solved my atidvag error message, I hope it will work for everyone with this problem. I had reinstalled my pc with all its drivers but the problem didnt go away until I used this program. Its strange but true. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
