Here is a good starting place for getting rid of stuff.

Additionally, you may wish to perform more thorough scans for viruses
and
malware with other tools:

Useful tips for Users/Readers of this blog:

To prevent yourself from installing or using fake anti-virus which may
probably install malware or other unwanted software, always buy or download
the original product from its original website(e.g. You want to buy an
antivirus. Always buy from the original website). If you do not know the
original website, search it up on a search engine such as Yahoo!, Google,
Dogpile, Ask.com.
