Post subject: Windows Live Messenger Crash my WinXP2 with error BAD_POOL_CALLED Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>messenger (more info?)
I'm using WinXP SP2 and recently I faced a problem with the Windows Live
Messenger 8.0 & 8.1 Beta version. After installing the Windows Live
Messenger, my WinXP crashed with a blue screen showing BAD_POOL_CALLED and
auto restart my System. I do not have such problem if I revert it back to MSN
Messenger 7.5
Anyone experience this and able to provide a solution for my problem?
I'm using IBM T41 notebook with 80GB Harddisk & 1.25GB RAM.

I have A problem like that. Every time I run WLM 8.0 or 8.1 I get the blue
screen of death and when my system restarts it tells me I recovered for a
serious error or something like that. 7.5 works fine though. Good luck
finding any help on fixing this. I have sent e-mail to msn messenger and WLM
sites with information from my event log and have heard nothing. btw this is
what my event viewer said.
It's kind of long :/
