Just (re)installed winxp sp2, and I'm stuck in 16 bit color quality with no
other options.

How do I get to more color (and smaller characters) - the Update
driver/internet doesn't find anything better, nor do my driver & monitor
CDs

Any suggestions?

Dave

Reinstall your video drivers, then right click the desktop and choose
Personalize | Display Settings.

Check the video card or PC manufacture's web site for updated video drivers.
