Locate the problem, which may be in
-- configuration e.g. speakers plugged in wrongly
-- hardware e.g. speakers died. (Test them in another PC.)
-- hardware e.g. sound card (or Sound on Board) defective
-- software e.g. audio drivers mangled.
If you have SoB (audio circuitry on the Motherboard you
need to:
1. Add a sound card
2. Disable SoB in PC BIOS
3. Instal sound card and test.

Click start: Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices, in Volume make sure
Mute is not ticked. Click the Advanced tab, & look for Mute ticks. Click
Options, Properties, Make sure the sliders are high enough.
