The "Search" command has disappeared from my Start menu. How do I get it
back? I am using Windows XP 5.1, Home Edition, Service Pack 2.

Hi,

Restore/Place Search on the Start Menu (Line 166)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Note: If have more than 11 items listed on the right side in blue, both
Run and Search will be dropped off. If this is the case, remove some
items by right clicking the Start button/Properties/Customize/Advanced.

Right click "Start" menu button
Properties > Customize button
Advanced tab > Scroll down and tick "Search"
Click OK > OK
