Post subject: Remote Control with DirectX Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>video (more info?)
We have an appilcation that uses the Video Mixing Renderer 9 in
windowless mode. We need to be able to connect to the machine remotely
and share the desktop. We can do this with the web service
'logmein123'. The only problem is the speed is as fast as we would
like. The problem with the web service is that all the traffic goes
through their servers so we cannot optimize the connection.
Both Remote Desktop and Remote Assistance fail to show the VRM9 on the
remote computer. The video does show up with no problem on the local
computer.
Does anyone know of any remote connection product that will show the
VRM9 properly and make a direct connection between the two machines.

Sorry it will not work. DL's are fast. Uploads are slow. The PC uploading
to the other PC will upload very slow no matter how fast the # 2 PC will
downalod
