for various reasons, software may
fail to completely uninstall all their
data.
however, in most cases it is not
clearly evident that they left
orphaned keys in the registry
and orphaned files/folders on
the disk
my recommendation is to use
ccleaner and microsoft's one
care online scanner.
they will reconcile the registry
nice and neat and perhaps
clear up those bits n pieces.
incidentally, how/where are
those bits n pieces showing up?
