Post subject: Quick Launch on TaskBar Add to elertz Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>basics (more info?)
I have Quick Launch toolbar enabled on TaskBar, with Lock Taskbar checked.
However, for the past 2-4 wk.s........QuickLaunch intermittantly stops
responding, forcing me to reboot. Lately, it has been absent from the
TaskBar upon reboot. I must uncheck QuickLaunch & then replace the
checkmark, in order for it to be accessible.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this irritating glitch has reared it's
head? Running WinXP, AVG, SpyBot, AdAware, SpywareBlaster.......all
up-to-date & reporting no problems.

Try unlocking the taskbar and see if the problem is rectified.

As I said....... I must unlock the taskbar, uncheck Quicklaunch, re-check
Quicklaunch & lock the taskbar again. That works til it decides to go wonky
again.

No........I don't allow even trial versions of Norton OR McKaffe to live on
my machines. I've used free AVG for years with nary a problem.......visus
or otherwise.
