Post subject: New Program Installation Slow

I am useing XP S2. I am having one problem. Whenver i am installing any new
program (msi extension) the installation indicator stops in certain point
(2/3) and it doesn't work. Can anyone please tell me what exactly the problem
is and how can i fix this? Recently i even install the Windows Installer 3.1
Redistributable (v2). But still having the problem.
