Suddenly, every time I try to extrtact files from a zipped folder either with
windows xp or with winzip, Windows Explorer shuts down. I have sent the data
to MS but not gotten anything back on it. I have clicked the debug option
which seems to make something happen, but onlyh the text files get extracted.
I have tried this on files from many different sources but still no luck.
Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it? Thanks.

Other sources have suspected AVG being the cause. If this is the case for
you, seek help there. http://www.avg.com/support

I recently bought tihs computer new with norton on it, but there could have
been strains of avg from the data that was shifted from the old hard drive to
the new one. If that seems unlikely than I don't think avg could be the
cause, although I will immediately go check out this link. Thanks.
