Hi and I hope I have the correct newsgroup.
What's up: Computer has recently (since my teenaged grandchildren came for a
summer vacation) started exhibiting "This Page Cannot Be Displayed"
notification, but only where advertisements would appear on a web page.
For example, when I go to webmd.com, I see a screen of almost all "This Page
Cannot Be Displayed" notifications!
My computer never did this previously.
My Computer: Is a Windows XP Home, with SP-2, a 350MB hard drive, 768MB of
SDRAM, running a Cox Communications high-speed connection, with Zone Alarm
firewall, AVG anti-virus, Spybot S&D, AdAware 2008, CWS Shredder, and Spyware
Blaster. I keep all updated or check for updates every day and I run scans
every evening. So far, other than some cookies, my computer is clean.
Can anyone assist in what steps I can take to stop these annoying
notifications?
