An MPEG-2 Decoder is what allows your
system to *Play* a DVD. That wouldn't help
in the current situation. If you do wish to play
DVDs...the following freebie may be worth a try:

VLC media player
http://www.videolan.org/

I would still suggest that personally...I would
download and install the K-Lite Mega Codec
Pack.

Yes...video editing is complicated. Proceed
at your own risk.

Ya! It works now! I downloaded the K-Lite Mega Codec
Pack. I will play around the weekend with WMM and see what I can do.
