When I click Reply, it comes with a small, very inconvenient to useless
little mesage box. I have click 'show plain text' to get a normal size that
shows more than a few lines of the composition.
I have tried find a 'drag' button to pull it bigger.
When I open up a New email message, I can use Rich text okay. The message
box is a normal size.
I like using Rich Text. Is there a 'simple' way to make the compostion box
bigger when Replying to an email?

windows live messenger 2008 build > windows live hotmail ( I always log into
hotmail through messenger)...I found a way around the problem, not a fix...
but I like using Rich text a lot, so this is how I will do it.

If I open hotmail page on Maximize, I get a normal size box for writing a
Reply, I can even go to Restore Down, and the box stays at a functional size.

If I hit Reply in the 'Restore Down' mode, that is when it is useless,,,
funny thing though, one message from an AOL address opens with a normal size
box when I click Reply in the Restore Down mode. go figure!?
------------
yes I tried to find a drag point to stretch it bigger, no luck
------------
Until they 'fix' it , i will do the above work around, but I very very
seldom use Maximize for anything, so it is a bit annoying, and just plain
lucky, I hit upon a work around...
Oh another work around is Click on Accounts, between, Help Central and
Feedback, bottom right of page.
Then click the Back button. That process turns it into a normal size box...
----
related.>??>>I read in another post that somebody was unhappy it always in
Rich Text.
the older versions remembered if you were in Rich or Plain, so if you don't
like Rich text box up there you could choose Plain as default
-------
so I have a way to get the screen I want, but would still like to know why
it opens with a teeny box when you log in 'Restore Down', and if there is way
to get a normal size without having to log in Maximize.???
