Post subject: Links on Microsoft website Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>general (more info?)
I get this link (as an example) on the www.microsoft.com website:
http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/155728786/direct/01/
I have a hosts file that blocks atdmt.com and therefore I cannot get to most
links on the Microsoft website!
Or has something taken over my computer's "links"?
Regards and TIA.

If you type in www.microsoft.com you should go to
http://www.microsoft.com/en/us/default.aspx. If you go to any other
location you have been hijacked and you need to run anti-malware programs to
check for any program that "got you!" I would not run the location link you
posted.
A simple Google search shows for atdmt.com:

Edit your hosts file.
