Post subject: Legacy entry in Registry Add to elertz
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>newusers (more info?)

When was legacy introduced to regestry in Windows XP SP3. I only noticed
Legacy over the past few weeks on my computer. What does Legacy entries do?
and the entries be erased from the registry. Any information on this topic
most welcome.

What exactly are you talking about? Are you refering to the Enum Subkey
entries at the Control Sets? If yes, leave those entries alone!
