If you are running low on hard disk space, the best thing to do before
you start deleting files is to eliminate duplicate files saved in your
hard drives first.

An example of software that locates files and documents is the
Duplicate Finder 2009, or more popularly known as "Duplicate Finder"
Duplicate Finder 2009 can search documents in your drives and can give
you the locations and paths within seconds. Not only can 'duplicate file
finder' (http://www.duplicate-finder-pro.com) find your files, it can
also identify certain files that are saved in duplicates. Of course,
there may be instances where files are intentionally saved in multiple
locations. However, majority of the occurrence of duplicates saved in
more than one location is by accident.

Duplicate Finder 2009 is so smart; it can track duplicates even if they
are named differently. This is because Duplicate Finder does its search
in binary codes by checking all documents and files through a
comparison, not just in terms of titles or filenames but in the content
of the files as well. The binary codes, which are written in a language
called the Assembly language, aid this search and comparison among the
documents and files, giving you the ultimate clean up of all duplicates
lingering in your drives.
