I want to delete or uninstall the spider game (I play it too much).

I have found the file in the WINNT/System 32 folder. But when I delete the
file, it reappears. Even if I log on as admin, delete the file and empty the
recycle bin, it reappears.

I'm certain theirs a way to do it but I seem to be at a loss.

Procedure may require logging on with an administrator account.

Try the "Add or Remove Programs" applet on the Windows XP Control Panel.

Select "Add/Remove Windows Components" in the left pane of the "Add or
Remove Programs" window.

After a brief wait select "Accessories and Utilities" in the Windows
Components Wizard"

Click the "Details" button

Select "Games" in the Accessories and Utilities" Window

Click the "Details" button there.

Click the check box to de-select "Spider Solitaire"

Click "OK" buttons until you've closed all those windows.

Please report back about your success (or lack of success)
