Hi all,

We are creating a BDD image for a set of computers we have and all is going
well at the moment. However what we want to do is create a standard
background for all users that logon to the PC's.

This will be a company logo.

I have created a script that set's the .Default user registry entries to
what we require and sure enough when the Ctrl-Alt-Delete screen is displayed
the correct background is there!

However when a new user logs on they get the standard Bliss background and
the resolution changes to 800x600.

Should this not be created from the .Default user profile and therefore give
the company background?

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob.

Did you get an answer on this?

One way I've used to make all the desktops match is to search the registry
for all "Wallpaper" entries, and copying the path that's desired, from the
entry that shows what you want - into the remaining "Wallpaper" related
fields.

Hope this helps!

To modify the wallpaper for every new user added to the machine.. and has
the added benefit of showing up during log on:

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop. In the right pane change to path
to Wallpaper.

Change ScreenSaver Automatically in the Registry (Line 97)
