Post subject: Comparison among Top 4 Blu-ray rippers

Through making efforts to search, study, test, and analyze on numerous Blu-ray rippers, finally, according to my test results and customers'comments, I've summarized 5 of them which seem powerful and useful by comparison, and hope you can get one to fit your needs. Now, let's have a look at these 4 rippers one by one together.

No.1 Pavtube http://www.pavtube.com/blu-ray-ripper/ (Blu-Ray Ripper)

This ripper is the best one among all the splitters I have tested. It is an independent DVD and Blu-Ray ripper, and is capable of decrypting all sorts of DVDs and Blu-ray disks, unprotected and protected, without the support of third party software.

Moreover, it has a unique option called "Copy", through which you can directly backup your DVD .vob files and Blu-ray .m2ts files to the hard disk of your PC, and still in the format of .vob and .m2ts without any video loss. Besides this, it can rip and convert your Blu-ray movies and general DVDs into other popular audio and video formats like AVI, ASF, MPEG, MP4, WMV, MKV, MOV, FLV, SWF, RM, 3GP, AAC, AC3, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA, M4A, etc., so that you can playback them on your beloved portable players like iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, Zune, Blackberry, PSP, Creative Zen, Xbox, etc.

Another difference among it and the latter three rippers lies in that it provides several editing options to users, like trim, crop, add special effect, add watermarks and so on, so that users can do simple editing on their original movies without using any other video editors.

Best of all, it is really affordable, just $49 US dollars, the cheapest of the four rippers.

No.2: http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/AnyDVD-HD/1057642382/1 (AnyDVD HD)

AnyDVD HD comes with same functionality as AnyDVD, but with additional features for full Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD support, including decryption of Blu-ray (BD+ and AACS) and HD DVD (AACS) movies.

By comparison, it lacks some functions that Pavtube http://www.pavtube.com/blu-ray-ripper/ (Blu-Ray Ripper) has, namely, it does not support adjusting customized settings like bit rate, resolution, etc, also changing sub-title and audio track are both unavailable.

It will cost $63 US dollars, a little expensive than Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper.

No.3: http://www.soft32.com/download_239545.html (Top Blu-ray Ripper)

It is capable of decrypting blu-ray disks to all the popular video and audio formats, like FLV, SWF, MOV, 3GP, 3GPP2, MKV, AVI, MPEG, MPEG4, WMV, RM, etc. Moreover, it supports previewing the movie before ripping, clipping the movie freely, snapshotting the images in the preview, automatically shutting down the computer, etc., and supports batch ripping. All these functions are all had by Pavtube http://www.pavtube.com/blu-ray-ripper/ (Blu-Ray Ripper).

However, compare with Pavtube http://www.pavtube.com/blu-ray-ripper/ (Blu-Ray Ripper) and http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/AnyDVD-HD/1057642382/1 (AnyDVD HD), http://www.soft32.com/download_239545.html (Top Blu-ray Ripper) can not decrypt Blu-ray (BD+ and AACS), and remove region codes. Furthermore, the same with AnyDVD HD, it is unable to select Audio track language as well.

Its price is $69.9 US dollars, higher than that of Pavtube Blu-Ray Ripper and AnyDVD HD.

No.4: http://www.itoolsoft.com/blu-ray-dvd-ripper.html (iToolSoft Blu-Ray DVD Ripper)

iToolSoft Blu-Ray DVD Ripper is an easy-to-use Blu-Ray and general DVD ripping software. It can split Blu-Ray and general DVD to various video and audio formats with amazing sound and high image quality, like video AVI, ASF, MPEG, MP4, WMV, MKV, MOV, FLV, SWF, RM, 3GP, etc., and audio AAC, AC3, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA, M4A, RA, Aiff, and AU.

The same with http://www.soft32.com/download_239545.html (Top Blu-ray Ripper), it does not support showing all chapters, therefore, users can not split their DVD or Blu-ray movies by chapters. This is a key point that needs improvement.

Besides this, it is the most expensive one among the 4 rippers, for it will spend you $79.95 US dollars.

All right, since this comparison is only done by myself, I'm sure there must be flaws and imperfections. Thus any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
