Hi
I would like to use my Sony Handycam DCRHC40 as a webcam with MSN Messenger.
I have got the video working but can't get voice via the handycam's internal
mic. Do I have to buy a separate mic?

I have just set up a Logitech QuickCam Orbit MP camera, downloaded MSN
Messenger and am having problems starting a video conversation. Once I have
messenger up and running and select the video conversation I get a system
error message "Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close. Any
ideas? Of course the rest of the message is to tell Microsoft about the
problem which I always elect to "Don't send." My system is Windows XP Multi
Media.
Thanks for the help.

Joli
I am trying to have a video conversation in Windows Live Messenger. I have
Windows XP with Media Center. When I try to send my webcam to my contact,
the video feed is from my cable tv, not my webcam. I can see and hear my
contact but all they see is my cable tv. Do you have any idea how I can
resolve this? Thank you.

I have the latest MSN Messenger. Got a new webcam. It seems to be working
great. Went through all the set-up for it, but when I invite my sister to
view it, it just keeps loading and then stops. She also has the latest MSN
Messenger. How can I get my webcam to work on the other end?
Thanks

It's weird, cuz I tried it out with another contact and he received it just
fine. Makes me wonder if it's something with my sisters computer? Does it
do it with all your contacts? All I got for an answer was the same article
that I had already read about installing and setting up the webcam and msn
messenger. So it wasn't really any help.
