Post subject: Age Of Empires 3 Gold Edition
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>games (more info?)

Having recently moved home and having developed a critical problem with my
laptop I had to reinstall Windows XP and other programmes including AOE3 Gold
(or tried to). On inserting disc 1 I was asked for the product key only to
discover that I had not brought the envelope with the Key with me! I
therefore have an expensive piece of game software (£35) that I cannot use.

I have spoken to Microsoft support (in the UK) who tell me that they cannot
provide me with a replacement key and that I have to contact the retailer who
sold it to me. I spoken to the retailer and they tell me that they cannot do
this…I am at my wits end! Can anyone please help?

The number around the inside of disc 1 is: - X14-0661501 1

On the box label I have the numbers 99994-606-857-793
X12-08297 (under the first barcode)
8 82224 53102 3 (under the second bar code)
Then RJX-00008 511064277
AGE OF EMPIRES III: GOLD WIN32
ENGLISH INT NOT TO LATAM CD
Then Above the bottom barcode
