The Add or Remove Programs function (Windows XP Home & SP3) does not
function properly:
1. It does not show last date used.
2. There are mysterious (to me) programs listed. When I go to see more
about such a program, I am offered only the option to delete the program. I
don't even know what the program is.
3. How often I use a program, and when I last used the program, are
totally wrong. There is a program that I used about two hours ago -- yet the
function states that I use the program only occasionally and that I last
used it on June 6th of this year.
Is there a way to make the function work properly? If so, how would it be
done?

1 & 3 are guestimates not to be relied on, as is any size reported
2 depends on the information provided by the program that has been
installed, and since you installed it, you should know what you installed.
All the above rely on details supplied by the program, and since MS has no
input on these, it depends on how the program was implimented/written as to
what is shown
The Add/Remove dialogue is just that, its not a process designed to give
detail of the program.

I realize that there are other methods to view information. Add/Remove
Programs are just that.
Now that you told me about the application, I'll just use it as a method to
remove programs.
