I cannot delete my mail that is stored in my deleted items folder. I have
about 400 messages and usually I can right click on th folder and delete all
the messages. It no longer lets me do that. I have been reading messages
about this and I see the response about applying a certain microsoft fix, but
HOW DO YOU DO THAT?? I tried clicking on the link and downloading the fix,
but nothing has happened...now what????

Hello Kimberlymom,

This tutorial may be able to help you. If the KB941090 update does not
help, then check you antivirus program and see if the manual method can
help.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

If that Microsoft fix does not work for you, I suggest upgrading to
Windows Live Mail:

Windows Live Mail (WLM) is a newer email program that does
everything Windows Mail does, plus Hotmail access and a few
other extras.

You can have separate sets of Contacts in WLM by simply selecting
a different Live ID sign-in.
