How to upload Halloween videos shot by AVCHD camcorder to YouTube on Mac?

Are you a AVCHD camcorder user? Have you shot lots of impressive and wonderful footages during the exciting haunted Halloween? If so, you must be looking forward to seeing them on YouTube, the most popular video-sharing website in the world, so that web users worldwide can share your beautiful works while surfing online. However, AVCHD camcorder save footages in the format of .mts and .m2ts, which are not supported by YouTube directly, in purpose of making it workable for YouTube, you have to convert these video files to YouTube compatible format in advance. Besides this, YouTube also has two more other limitations. To let your uploading be more smoothly, I list all the things you should notice as below:
I. YouTube supported video formats: .FLV, .MKV, .MOV, .WMV, .AVI, MPEG, .MP4, DivX, 3GP and .OGG.
II. Uploaded file size: up to 2 GB for standard accounts.
III. Uploaded file length: up to 10 minutes for standard accounts, and longer than 10 minutes for partner accounts.

Well, all the things you should pay attention have been mentioned as above, next I will show you how to meet all the requirements via the help of Pavtube MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac step by step. With assistance of this program, you can absolutely upload your AVCHD Halloween videos to YouTube on your Mac successfully, just get what you need from this article freely. Now, let’s begin.
Step 1: Download, install and run Pavtube MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac

After launched, the following blue sky interface will pop up, on which you can click “Add” button to import .mts and .m2ts files generated by your AVCHD camcorders to this program.

Step 2: Select output format and specify save path
Once .mts and .m2ts files have been loaded to this program, what you should do next is clicking on the drop-down list of “Format” to select the output format, here I choose FLV for instance. Suppose you have the need of combining all the AVCHD files into a single file, you can tick the checkbox of “Merge into one file” to realize this goal. Also, you can click “Browse” button to browse and search for a path to store the output files as long as you dislike using the destination folder set by default.

 <<-- click to expand

Step 3: Customize video and audio settings
Pavtube MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac permits users adjusting video and audio parameters like codec, bit rate, screen size, frame rate, etc. In that way, you can take charge of the output file size so as to fit the requirements of YouTube. Generally speaking, the larger input values will produce the larger file size, and the smaller inserted figures will generate smaller file size.

Step 4: Convert
So long as the steps mentioned above are all finished, you can click “Convert” button to start transferring. The conversion info including progress, time elapse, and estimated left time, generated file size as well as estimated file size is all presented in the interface below. You can see whether the estimated file size is not more than 2 GB or not, otherwise, you should adjust the video and audio parameters again to match the demand of YouTube.

As long as conversion is completed, click on “Open” button in the interface of step 2 to get the output files about Halloween, which then can be uploaded to YouTube via your Mac directly.
