The subject says it all, I think. My machine has three accounts; admin, main
user, guest user. When the machine starts I do not want the admin acct to be
visible to the main and user accts from the welcome screen. I didn't see an
obvious way to do this but surely there must be. Advice?

Hello chocobot,
I won't ask you why you want to do that. I'm just asking you to" forget
about it ".
No sane person will tell you the way. Please don't.

It's your call, but read the warning first.

As you can see from the link given to you by Spirit, the procedures are
somewhat lengthy to hide or unhide. It's not a flick of a switch. If you
are using the computer in business, it's a terrible idea. Time is of
essence. I have done my share to dissuade you. It's up to you.
