The very act of doing it is illegal. It is illegal to make copies of
copyrighted materials. It would be illegal, technically, to use Google to
search for DVD Fab Decrypter, as the use of such software to do what you
want to do would be illegal. So, just so you fully understand, making
copies of copyrighted, copy protected materials is illegal.

Kevin does have a very overstated point.

However, I'm not going to make the same, rather prejudiced & judgemental,
assumption about your intentions Syed, & I'll give you an answer.

So, assuming your friends DVD is a non-copyrighted, home movie, the only way
to copy it is to buy some CD burning software, such as Nero, or Easy CD & DVD
creator. Just search for them on Amazon. I rarely shop anywhere else.

Vista does have some very rudimentary burning ability built in, but to do
anything worthwhile, you'll need to buy a separate package. I'm surprised
that you didn't get any with your PC/DVD burner, they usually package it with
something that allows you to use them.
