I did right click and try to run as administrator and it still didn't
respond. It used to work just fine but suddenly will not load.

I do have Norton Security on the system but I don't understand why it used
to work and now doesn't.

Is it listed in the Proceses tab of Task Manager?
Was SatelliteTVforPC 2006 ever on this system? That's very bad software
that can cause this problem.

Did you have SatelliteTVforPC 2006 on this system at some point? The error
you're encountering very much looks like that you did. That will badly
corrupt the Windows Media Player registry keys, which is they pulled their
software from the market.

I'm going to assume that fslsp.dll isn't on your system. As such this
should pretty specifically mean that mf.dll on your system is now corrupt.
What is the file version on that file?

When did this first occur? What multimedia software has been added (or
removed) from your system?

I was previously unaware that there were any cases where mf.dll would become
corrupt on a system - if that *is* what you're running into, I would love to
understand how you got into that state so that it might be possible to
figure out how to avoid this for people in the future.
