Will this help improve gaming on vista?

AMD is a good company, and I believe it was a wise (and cool) thing for
them to have acquired ATi.

But as you said, their latest offering doesn't quite reach the level of
Intel's latest tech. But still damn good. :)

As for giving your old PC's, that sounds like a really good
idea....it's true, there's not enough charity in the world.
