Post subject: deleting old email Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>mail (more info?)
how do i delete old emails. i have several emails that when i try to delete
come up with a message saying COPYUID ... the specified message does not
exist. How do i get rid of these?

If any messages can't be deleted, apply this Microsoft fix:
Although that article only mentions Outbox, it works for all mail folders.

Hello,
This will help show you how to fix a stuck undeletable message problem
in Windows Mail for all folders.
The KB941090 update will just fix the problem for now. You must stop
the cause to prevent it from happening again. Read the "First" section
in this tutorial about antivirus and other security programs to help
prevent this from happening again, then install the KB941090 Microsoft
Update in the "Second" section to fix the stuck message problem.
