What format of movie DVD will play on a T.V. DVD player? And, How do you burn
a movie onto a disk when the DVD is too small for the movie? Are there larger
DVD's.

Most TV DVD players would only support DVD Video playback, which requires
DVD burning software. Basically, you couldn't burn a data DVD, just a video
DVD, which is a form of MPEG2. DVDs typically hold 4.5GBs or ... hours of
movie(s).
If your TV DVD player supports anything cooler, the owner's manual should
point it out.
You can get DVD-9s (9GB), but they don't work well in some players. You
could certainly try, though.

Thanks, That's a lot of information to asorb for a non-computer nerd. I saved
you link to look at later. I think it will be of some help. I do have DVD
burning software. But so far, I can only get them to playback on my computer.

Third party software such as nero have programs included to recode your disc
in order for it to fit. 1 drawback, the smaller you make the file, the less
quality your vid will have.
