Was having the same problem. Thanks for the fix! Here's my take on it...
because AOL saves the sent email, Windows Mail downloads that "sent mail" and
because we asked Windows Mail to save it to sent file, it's saving it's own
personal copy.

No, when I deleted the second account the email account doesn't sent any
emails. What might I have done wrong?
Thanks

You replying in a very old thread. Please start your own thread and give

When I send an email, the recipient gets several copies. Sometimes up to 20
copies of the email. I have increased the sensitivitiy on the touchpad,
confirmed my email account is only set up once, switched to a mouse.....I'm
not sure what else I can fix.
Any suggestions?

Actually, I figured the problem out myself. When I called Dell support, they
told me it was a problem with the way my email was confugured. So I called
my ISP Cox communication who advised me to send a deadend message to the
postmaster.....again no help. I got on their website and followed the
instructions to configure for Vista and have fixed the problem. Apparently
it has to do with the IP address.
Hope that helps!! I like to keep a copy of what I send so I can go back and
verify I sent the email to whom it was intended at the right time.

So exactly what change did you make?
Vista's mail should be no different than XP mail.
