I am having the same problem. I have followed through with the "walkaround" method, but my Vista laptop says that the network path is not correct. The information that I enter is \MATTLexmark4200Series which is the correct path name to the shared, networked printer. Can anyone help?

Wow what a waiste of words!
Simple try the following:
Go to Control Panel. Choose printer. Then choose Add Printer.
Choose Add a local printer. Click on Create a new port. The default in the drop down box is Local Port. Do not change that. Click Next.
A dialogue box will appear asking for you to enter a port name. Type in \computer nameprinter name . Done!!!

You all take care.

Philip
