Running Vista Home Premium, using a Canon ImageClass MF4150.
Intermittently, print jobs go awry:
1. I can boot up in the morning and the first thing I print will be
half a page of the last thing I printed yesterday and half a page of
the current print job.
2. I try to print a 7 pp Word doc. Pgs 1-3 are fine, 4 is blank
except for jagged varied sized triangles on the right margin, 5 is
blank, 6 is triangles, 7-10 are blank, 11 is my page 6, 12 is my page
7. The seven page doc has yielded 12 pgs. and 5 of the seven I
wanted.
I have: replaced the USB cable (not on a hub), downloaded and
installed a new driver, added power line filtering; Canon has replaced
the unit. Problem persists.
Anyone else have problems like this? Anything in the Vista spooler
that could cause problems like this (and how would one then fix it)?
