This may have been an issue before but I can only seem to find a
solution to half of my problem. Cntrl+Alt+Delete will not open my task
manager. I can access the manager from the run command and by right
clicking the taskbar but of course this is a useless option when you are
in a game play situation with an all out crash.
I have run virus and spy prgrams until blue in the face and there seems
to be nothing wrong other than the fact that Cntrl+Alt+Delete does
nothing on my Vista Ultimate 64x rig. Any fix would be much appreciated.

Oh! and I have just noticed that sfc /scannow won't run
either...............bloody hell.

Try Ctrl-Alt-Esc or Ctrl-Shift-Esc instead.

If you are still having difficulties, check for viruses/malware:
