While doing a stability check, i discovered that my SQLWRITER was not
functioning. The system said to restart the service. When I attempt to
restart the service I get the following message:
Windows is unable to start SQL Server VSS Writer service. The message is
"Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly".

The properties of the service should tell you what 'dependencies' it has on
other services. One of those may not be running.
