Post subject: Scanned Real picture from 1995, how to change the created date? Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>music_pictures_video (more info?)
Hello,
I started scanning some old photo's from holiday's in 1995. When starting up
Media Center Extender on the Xbox 360 to show some pictures i get this
problem.
When showing the pictures as a TimeLine the scanned pictures show up on 2007
instead of 1995. Not so strange i scanned them this weekend, so creation date
is this weekend. Can I batch the created date for the scanned pictures to an
date in 1995 with Vista? Or does someone knows a great freeware program?

You can do it with Windows Explorer.
Open the folder that the photos are in, select the photos..
in the details pane at the bottom click on Date Taken field, enter the date.
