remove it before it got completely into my system, but it has somehow
managed to corrupt the kernel32.dll and rundll32.exe files.

Hi Kenneth

You don't specify the malware , but I would spend a few minutes to
make extra sure by downloading , installing, updating and scanning with
these 2 free apps.

'SUPERAntiSpyware.com - AntiAdware, AntiSpyware, AntiMalware!'

'Malwarebytes.org' (http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php)

Then try repairing those files with

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/66978-system-files-sfc-command.html

or

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html

other options would be System restore to a point you think is before
you got the malware, but you never know what may be lurking in the
shadow copies, or of course a clean reinstall

Hope this helps

Seems to have worked, I'll let you know if it didn't.

Well, after running that in safe mode and finding nothing it couldn't
fix, then swiching back to normal mode it's still doing the same things.
Anything else you can think of that might be the problem? Seems that
every crash message I get (mozilla firefox aswell) shows that the fault
module is kernel32.dll, and as for the malware that got in, one of them
was MicroAV (a microsoft antivirus spoof).

Hi Kenneth,

can only suggest you use malwarebytes as per my previous post,
instructions here

'How to remove Micro Antivirus 2009 (Uninstall Instructions)'

then check again with Superantispyware.

Then if sfc can't repair the system files, either a repair install, or
clean install is required

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html

http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-vista.html

Hope that helps
