Hi was wondering if someone could help; I'm trying to install voice
recognition software on my computer, when I try to select the USB microphone
in the recording tab in the sound panel (in the control panel) its all dulled
out and freezes; you can't get rid of it until you restart the computer? has
anyone had this problem before? got any ideas on why its happening or can
suggest any remedies? Many Thanks in advance!!

They dulled out panel is because you actually need to plugg a mic in
the line in/microphone jack.

I have no idea what sound system you have installed or what sort of
voice recognition. Surely the manufacturer of your software would have
told you if it's vista compatiable and a trouble shooting guide on their
website

you don;t mention if the mic came with the software.

What did the instructions say to try to do? What have you tried to do
too...
