Hello,
I just bought the Inspiron 530 and transfered my Vista Ultimate setting. All
went well except I have Widows Mail set to send and receive automatically but
I keep getting an error but no error message. The settings are exactly the
same as my Dell laptop and my old computer that work. When I first start Mail
or if I just hit receive I get my email and when I send a message it goes
thru. Has anyone else had this problem?

How do you know you are getting an error if there is no error message?
Which antivirus are you running?

Hello,
I get a box that states "Some errors occurred while precessing the requested
task. Please review the list of errors below for more details." but nothing
in the box below. The computer was shipped with Trend Micro PC-cillin
pre-installed. My other systems had Norton.

If PC-cillin is set to scan your email, you've probably found the culprit.
Recent versions of Trend are not compatible with Vista and ALL email
scanners are incompatible with Windows Mail and every other email client
know to modern man. It is in the nature of the way they must work that
there WILL be problems sooner or later. Remove the email scanning (which
usually requires an uninstall of the AV product followed by a custom
re-install without the email scanner) and see if the problem persists.

3. Turn off email scanning in your antivirus software.

Stop error message when you send or receive e-mail messages on a Windows
Vista-based computer that has e-mail scanning software installed: "STOP:
0x1000008E KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M"
