Post subject: Publish option in Move Maker (Vista) not available Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>music_pictures_video (more info?)
I am trying to learn how to publish a video to You Tube. I am using Movie
Maker (Vista) and importing from my camera (Sony DCR-HC28). After I import
the video and go to "File" my "Publish" option is greyed out.
Do I need to make a change to Movie Maker or am I doing something wrong in
the import process?

Importing gets the video files into the collections... but you don't publish
until you've used something from the collections in the timeline/storyboard
of a project. It's from there you publish the movie.
