My brother has been in hospital for nine months after brain surgery and now
that he is convalesing in a nursing home we have taken his PC in for him to
use. The problem is that it will no longer recognise his password and he
cannot log on. No one has changed it so we don't know what else to do. We
can't get into anything. My daughter who is the 'techy' in the family is
trying everything she can think of but no luck so far. We have even taken out
the battery and reset the passwords in Security but that didn't help either.
I'm hoping someone out there might have some good ideas. Thank you.

Hello Jezza,

I'm sorry to hear about your brother. I hope he is starting to feel
better.

You can use Method Three in this tutorial to reset the password to gain
access again.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Thanks Shawn, I'll pass this on to my daughter and see if she can get it
sorted.
