Today I made a movie on windows movie maker for the first time on this
current pc but the problem is when I try to publish the movie it gets to
about 3% and then windows movie maker closes and a window pops up
saying:

"Another user is running Window Movie Maker on this computer. Please
close the other session of Windows Movie Maker before starting Windows
Movie Maker again."

I have tried several times and to no avail. Seeing as I had trouble
with the music file types when applying them to the movie I took out the
music and tried again. This time it got roughtly to about 16% and yet
again the same message popped up!

Please, if anyone can help I would appreciate it!

Thanks ~ Andrew

Edit - I also forgot to mention that there is only one user account on
the computer, which is mine as the administrator.

I was getting this same message despite being the only user on my
computer. I opened the Task Manager and looked in the Processes tab (not
Tasks--it doesn't show up there) and found a Movie Maker file running
that I canceled. That solved the problem for me.
