I have a Mustek video camera which I had taken lots of videos with which
played back without a problem in Windows XP.
Trying to load them in Vista brings up a message saying that a codec Intel
IMA ADPCM (11) is missing.
Any idea where I get this from and how I load it into the system?
(On the Xp machine I didn't have to load anything, the videos just played)

You can get the codec from the internet. It is part of an Intel package
and can be downloaded free or charge. I was missing the same codec on my GOM
player (which is superior to WMP and is free) so I clicked on "find codec"
and I was directed to the proper webpage. I hope this helps. I will give you
some sound advice concerning codecs. Stay away from "codec packs" per se and
stay away from "Vista codec packs". They come packed with unnecessary add-ons
and cause nothing but conflicts with your system. Try to find the one codec
you need and download only that one codec. Have a nice day.

I have the EXACT same problem! I have a Aiptek camcorder and camcorder files played great w/ no problems on my old XP PC. I have had Vista for a while but just today discovered I can't play my camcorder files. I need that darn codec you also need to play the videos. Have you figured out a soulution to the problem? I have been looking for hours for the codec and all i can find are message boards with people asking for it but no one has an answer.
I am an amature filmmaker and am planning to shoot my next movie next month. Filming should wrap up by July so I need to get the codec before then.
Please, please, please, please help!!!!
